Our Work
The Committee meets, generally monthly, throughout the year to consider and monitor current issues and concerns about standards in public life. Minutes of these meetings are published on this website.
Our meetings and broader Committee work often lead to statements, press notices, responses to consultation documents and other outcomes. From time to time, and wherever necessary, we announce and carry out full-scale inquiries, usually involving an Issues and Concerns document, public hearings around the UK, and a final report presented to the Prime Minister. We publish all the key material resulting from our inquiries.
We also publish an Annual Report setting out our work over the previous year and our agenda going forward. We hold an Open Meeting each spring or summer to mark the publication of this Report and to encourage public discussion of its contents.
